Xiaomi releases its new, most-awaited, trending watch, the first smartwatch designed and configured by Xiaomi and here you will get to know everything about new Mi watch, right now this smartwatch is launched on 5 November, Tuesday in Beijing China at an event along with new Mi CC9 pro and Mi TV 5 series.
Mi Watch at Glance
Mi watch has an appearance similar to Apple watch but it is completely different in features, also without reviewing anything we can’t conclude about it, Xiaomi worked a lot over their new smartwatch and therefore we cannot say that it is a clone of apple’s watch, in appearance we can say that it is similar to apple watch but in features it may be totally different.
Mi watch comes up with a 1.78 inch AMOLED Display with 326 pixels per inch density. Soon, Xiaomi will bring up the new trending watch to the global market but till Xiaomi doesn’t reveal anything about the launching Mi watch in the global market, till now watch is available in China. Mi watch comes up with a 1.78 inch AMOLED display with 326ppi pixel density. Along with Sapphire crystal glass protection patched up with a stainless steel frame and with a stainless steel strap in premium edition and sports aluminum alloy with matte finish with ceramic back cover and curved Gorilla Glass 3 protection in front with a rubber strap in the basic edition.
Dial shape and size
The watch comes with a square-shaped and 44mm dial with 44.7 x 36.9 x 12.3 mm dimensions and 56g of weight.
The watch is powered with a 570mAh battery, which is good for 36 hours of use according to Xiaomi. It comes up with a pogo pin to charge the watch.
We all are familiar with Xiaomi’s own custom UI i.e., MIUI and the famous WearOS from Google which is being used in many smartwatches in the industry. So this time Xiaomi came with the combination of MIUI and WearOS and the OS in the watch will be MIUI based on WearOS.
Xiaomi always believes in providing the flagship experience to their users in all their smartphone segment, so why not with smartwatches as well. Under the hood, Mi smartwatch sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 3100 SoC which is the latest flagship SoC from Qualcomm for the smartwatch segment.

The watch is equipped with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.
Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Electronic SIM card, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS these are some connectivity features of the new Mi watch.
The watch is water-resistant up to 50 meters of depth.
The watch comes up with inbuilt loudspeakers and support for many downloadable apps, app stores, dark mode. The company has also included its voice assistant in the Mi Watch to control smart home devices and many other functions.
In China, Xiaomi launched the basic edition of watch for 1299 CNY (around INR 13,000) and premium edition for 1999 CNY (around INR 20,000).
