Twitter has taken down more than 7000 QAnon Accounts on Tuesday. With the rising conspiracy movement over abuse and harassment concerns Twitter has taken down more than 7000 QAnon accounts to limit the spread of conspiracy theories by the ‘QAnon’ supporters. This removal takes place to prevent the spread of misinformation by many QAnon account holders over the social media platform.

According to Twitter’s spokesperson, “as part of its new policy, Twitter has taken down more than 7,000 QAnon accounts in the last few weeks for breaking its rules on targeted harassment.”

Members of this group (informal, pro-Donald Trump group) believe that “ the United States has been ruled for decades by a criminal organization involving people they describe as the Satan-worshipping global elite, including Hollywood stars and the “deep state.” Moreover, members of the right-wing group also plotting a secret against Trump and the group members are targeting political opponents by posting embarrassing and harassing content on the social media platform.

Twitter will stop recommending accounts related to QAnon, and also the material related to QAnon.
