Step 1: Go to the Windows Search Bar and type, “Sound”, hit enter.
Step 2: Go to the ‘Playback’ tab.
Step 3: Select your primary speaker’s audio playback device and click on ‘Set Default’. Apply the changes.
Step 4: Go to ‘Recording’ tab.
Step 5: In the blank white space, right-click, and select ‘Show Disabled Devices’. Now you shall see ‘Stereo Mix’ in the Recording tab.
Step 6: Now, right-click on Stereo Mix and click ‘Enable’ option.
Step 7: Right-click on Stereo Mix, select ‘Set as Default Device’.
Step 8: Right-click on Stereo Mix, click on ‘Properties’.

Step 10: From the ‘Playback this device’ drop-down menu, select the second playback device.
Step 11: Click on Apply and press OK to save all the changes that you made in every menu.

The new Windows version allows users to customize playback devices for software. So that means that users can easily select different audio playback devices for different apps.
